Pomegranate Tahini Dip

It is a tradition to eat pomegranates on Rosh Hashanah! This dip is a perfect way to incorporate pomegranates into your meal in an easy, healthy and delicious way. This dip is perfect with the challah (bread) drizzled with honey or agave. I hope everyone has a sweet new year!

Pomegranate Tahini Dip
1/2 cup tahini paste
1/3 cup pomegranate juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 roasted red pepper from a jar or fresh
1 clove crushed garlic
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
pepper to taste
garnish with chopped chives (optional)

Add all ingredients except chives into a blender and blend until smooth, then garnish with chives. The color should be light pink. Enjoy!
